The vibrant, spectacular stone is a hydrophane, meaning it absorbs water and can temporarily changes clarity when wet. It will lose its color permanently when repeatedly soaked in water or other kinds of liquid.

Sterling Silver is waterproof, hypoallergenic, and lasts forever with proper care.
Clean regularly with a polishing cloth, avoid chemicals and abrasives, and store silver in a cool, dry, airtight place to prevent tarnish.
Avoid ultrasonic or steam cleaners on any jewelry set with gemstone(s). Use warm water and gentle soap in a bowl or a glass. You can use a soft toothbrush to gently scrub the gemstone, then let it air dry.
